The Ass who has heard some Grasshoppers’ twittering, has been highly fascinated; and, wishing to possess the same charm of a melody, has asked, what they eat, that does their voices such beautiful. Grasshoppers have answered, "The dew". The donkey has solved, that it will live eating only dew, and has shortly died of hunger.
